Dr. Ryan Costner was raised in Hope Mills, NC. After high school, he served a two-year mission for his church in Hawaii and the Republic of Kiribati. Shortly after returning home he married his wife, Lacey, and began his undergraduate education.

Dr. Costner completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Brigham Young University and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from Virginia Commonwealth University. He then completed two surgical internships, first with the University of Iowa Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and then with the University of Missouri – Kansas City Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

He recently relocated to Whispering Pines with his wife and four children. In his free time, Dr. Costner prefers to spend time with his family, exercise, woodworking, and travel. He is a visiting North Carolina Oral Surgery + Orthodontics (NCOSO) Sedation Dentist.
