Dr. Michelle Hinds was born in Maine and received her undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Southern Maine in Portland, Maine. She attended Tufts Dental School in Boston, Massachusetts and during her schooling married her high school sweetheart, Scott Hinds. Dr. Hinds received the Health Professions Scholarship from the US Army and then moved to North Carolina. As an active duty member of the United States Army Dental Corp, Dr. Hinds cared for the active duty soldiers of the 82nd Airborne, as well as many Army Reserve and National Guard troops. Dr. Hinds was honorably discharged from the Army soon after she gave birth to quadruplets in 2003. Dr. Hinds began working at Lane & Associates Family Dentistry in 2006.

She continues to work part-time in the Fuquay and Lillington offices while managing the hectic schedule of four children. She enjoys crocheting and reading and is active in teaching and volunteer work at her church, St Bernadette’s in Fuquay.
