Dr. Meghan Symonds grew up in Cary, North Carolina, and currently resides in Raleigh. She completed her undergraduate studies at Sewanee: The University of the South in Tennessee, where she was a member of the collegiate golf team. After earning her Master’s in Biomedical Sciences and her DMD from Rutgers University in New Jersey, Dr. Symonds was thrilled to return to her home state. In her spare time, she enjoys playing golf, cheering on the Carolina Hurricanes, and spending time with family at the beach in Beaufort, North Carolina.
