Key Responsibilities
- Assist dentists in patient care delivery
- Reinforce preventive maintenance guidance to patients
- Seat and prepare patients for treatment
- Clean operatories following procedures
- Prepare instrument tray setups
- Monitor operatory supply inventory
- Perform sterilization of instruments
- Expose and develop radiographs
- Take preliminary impressions as needed
- Track prosthetic cases and readiness
- Maintain lab tracking systems and OSHA compliance
- Complete additional assigned duties
Required Qualifications
- Valid and up-to-date Dental Assisting certificate and/or one to two years of relevant experience
- North Carolina X-Ray Certification
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong organizational and planning abilities
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to lift 15-20 pounds
- Denticon software experience preferred
