1 Week Later
Significant progress occurs within a week. Dissolvable stitches begin disappearing, and gum tissue almost completely closes over the site. Most patients resume usual routines.
Tips for a Smooth Recovery
Use prescribed medications or over-the-counter options like ibuprofen. Apply cold compresses for 10-15 minutes every few hours during the first 48 hours.
